On-campus hostel

The information below apply to Full Time students only, incoming exchange students should contact Sandra at or Regina at for further information.

MBA Office works with Jockey Club Postgraduate Halls (PGH1) to offer on-campus accommodation to non-local Full Time students. Given that places are limited, we may not be able to offer on-campus accommodation to all international students.

Duration of residence
The period of residence for the first, second & third term is 1 August 2017 to 9 June 2018.

  1. PGH does not process applications from MBA students directly and the criteria for selection as listed in the PGH residence application form do not apply to MBA students. The MBA Office will apply for hostel places on behalf of MBA students.
  2. Allocation of room is to be decided by lot, unless stated otherwise.
  3. Please note that all on-campus accommodation is for single students and not available for couples and/or families.
  4. No Refund of the paid hostel fee will be arranged under any circumstances, including any case of failing to occupy the assigned hostel room till the end of the aforementioned period.
  5. Hostel deposit of HK$ 3,500.00 will be refunded within three months after check out, net the cost of any damage/breakages and outstanding fees (if any).
  6. Students who want to stay for the Summer Term (June and July) will have to apply for the extension of stay at later stage (subject to MBA office's approval and room availability).
  7. Amenities in the Jockey Club Postgraduate Hall (PGH1):
    • Modestly furnished bedrooms with washing basin;
    • Telephone and network (ResNet) connection;
    • Air-condition operated with smart cards in all rooms (central heating is not available but also mostly unnecessary);
    • Laundry facilities: coin-operated washing and drying machines;
    • Shared kitchens equipped with refrigerators, stoves, boilers and microwaves on each floor;
    • Shared bathrooms with showers on each floor;
    • Common rooms with TV, computer room, reading room and other function rooms.

Moving in

Rooms at PGH will be available for occupation from 1 August 2017 to 9 June 2018. If you arrive in Hong Kong before 1 August 2017, you could contact us for special arrangement (subject to availability) or book yourself into a hostel or other accommodations.

Keys for rooms will be collected from the PGH 24-hours reception desk. But if you are arriving in mid-night or during the weekends, let us know so that we can make sure everything is properly arranged.

Off-campus Accommodation (Reservation via MBA Office)

If you have not been allocated a room at PGH or you opt for the off-campus accommodation, the following are options.

Facilities Fully furnished, equipped with mini kitchenette unit, direct TV CD/DVD player system (REAS), free wireless internet access, safety box etc). 3"x6"(single bed size) and 4"x6"(double bed size).

Terms & Conditions

  1. Rates shown above are valid for Sept 2017 only, and may vary according to room setup, seasons or availability and subject to change.
  2. Preferential rate is applicable for occupancy of minimum one month.
  3. All requested room types are subject to availability. If the Licensee has sold out on certain room types, a room will be allocated to you according to the priority stated in your application form.
  4. Advance payment of minimum one month rental together with the deposit of HK$3,000.00 should be settled two months prior to the check-in date. Students shall settle the remaining rental with the respective licensee directly. Deposit shall be returned to you within 2 months after check out.
  5. MBA office will only make reservations for the first month stay to allow flexibility for students. You should advise the Licensee for any extension of stay once you have checked in.
  6. No refund of deposit for 'No Show' or 'Cancellation of reservation' made within 14 working days prior to check in.
  7. Students should observe the Terms & Conditions of each Licensee carefully when they make further agreement with them.
  8. Whilst every effort is made to secure your requested reservation is available, we cannot guarantee, under unforeseen circumstances, the actual room type which is subject to availability on the day of check in. We will not accept responsibilities for any disturbances or inconveniences beyond our control nor for accidents, damages and/or losses caused by the management or staff in the place you stay.

  1. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.

Cancellation / Amendment Policy

No refund of any fee paid for 'No Show' or 'cancellation of reservation' made within 14 working days prior to check in.

Amendment will be considered depending on room availability. Students are responsible for informing the licensee for any changes regarding their stay.
